Junior Purchasing & Supply Chain Assistant
Job Purpose
We are looking for a motivated Junior Purchasing & Supply Chain Assistant to support our procurement and administrative activities. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to develop skills in purchasing, supplier coordination, and supply chain operations.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Support the purchasing process by preparing and processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate records
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and comparing offers (price, quality, delivery time)
- Follow up with suppliers on orders, deliveries, and documentation
- Help maintain good relationships with suppliers and resolve basic issues (delivery delays, discrepancies, etc.)
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory updates in coordination with internal teams
- Provide administrative support to the supply chain team (data entry, reporting, document management)
⭐ Profile
- Degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- First experience (internship or 1–2 years) in purchasing, administration, or supply chain is a plus
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of SAP or ERP systems is a plus
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
- Strong capacity to manage heavy workloads and work effectively, even during busy periods.
💰 Pay: £27,000 per year
