The French pool market is the first in Europe with more than 3 million pools installed at home. Customers constantly looking for more environmentally friendly solutions to automatically treat, heat and regulate their pond.
BIO-UV Group responds to these challenges by offering alternative technologies (UV-C, salt electrolysis and ozone) and complementary solutions for treating and heating water ensuring impeccable hygiene and bathing comfort.

BIO-UV Group is a member of the network of the Fédération des Professionnels de la Piscine et du Spa (FPP) which brings together all the players in the swimming pool sector, whether they are constructors, equipment manufacturers, of shelters or spas, as well as specialized service companies in France and Europe.

Standard NF EN 17645 is a European regulation that establishes a framework for assessing the environmental impact of residential pools for family use. It takes into account different aspects of the pool, such as water, lighting, filtration, piping, and heating, to provide an overall assessment of their environmental performance.
This standard introduces an environmental classification of swimming pools and their equipment, noted from A (the best environmental performance) to F (the least virtuous). It applies specifically to permanently installed outdoor domestic pools and aims to inform consumers about the ecological footprint of their installation.

In addition to providing an objective basis for comparison, the standard encourages manufacturers, installers and dealers to offer products that are more environmentally friendly, particularly with regard to energy efficiency.
