To prevent the proliferation of algae and the spread of diseases caused by poor water quality, BIO-UV Group offers efficient UV or ozone water treatment systems to owners of freshwater or seawater basins.
These systems are designed to handle the daily flow of recirculated water to ensure clarity in a wide range of basins, including larger ones. UV-C lamps and ozone are used to clarify water and reproduce as much as possible the biological environment of the natural habitat. UV water treatment ensures the bacteriological quality of the water while preserving the health and longevity of the fauna and flora, preventing the development of pathogenic diseases in the basin or ponds. Water treatment with ozone removes fish feed residues, aquatic waste, and toxins that can make the water cloudy or yellowish and stress the animals. It also protects them from irritation caused by chemical disinfection treatments.
Both treatments are completely natural and remove algae without causing discomfort. In addition, the systems can be easily adapted to indoor or outdoor installations.
