Electrical \/ Automation engineer for the design and development of Ozone \/ UV electrical control systems for new and existing products within BIO-UV group.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

Job Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

    \n \n
  • Design of electrical control systems integrating a PLC (full autonomy) and peripherals including mass flow controllers, inverters, pumps, gas\/fluid sensors etc.<\/li>\n\n \n
  • Creation of electrical wiring schematics, cable schedules and Bill of materials.<\/li>\n\n \n
  • Programming of Schneider or Siemens PLC\u2019s for electrical control systems, including Modbus TCP and EtherNet\/IP communication to external systems and communication to internal components using 24V digital I\/O\u2019s and RS 485\/232.<\/li>\n\n \n
  • Ensure the system designs comply with the relevant directives and industry standards of CE, UKCA, UL, and C-UL (according to the product) \u2013 including the Machinery and EMC directive, and any relevant Ingress Protection, Safety, and functionality requirements.<\/li>\n\n \n
  • Oversee the electrical assembly of systems and ensure the systems are built to the required specification.<\/li>\n\n \n
  • Assistant in developing test schedules and oversee and provide support during in-house validation testing.<\/li>\n\n \n
  • Assistant and support in the successful testing and award of third-party certification for electrical safety and EMC.<\/li>\n\n \n
  • Assist in the creation of system documentation, including O&M manual and technical datasheets.<\/li>\n\n \n
  • Assist and support in the maintenance and upgrading of existing products.<\/li>\n\n \n
  • Provide technical assistance and support for production, purchasing and sales departments if required.<\/li>\n\n <\/ul>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

    Profile Skills and Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

      \n \n
    • Practical and demonstrable experience in programming Schneider and Siemens PLC\u2019s and electrical design.<\/li>\n\n \n
    • Experience in Modbus TCP \u2013 EtherNet\/IP Communication Protocol and RS-485 \/232 serial communication.<\/li>\n\n \n
    • Experience of developing, testing and optimising new PLC software.<\/li>\n\n \n
    • Experience in thermal design for calculating heat dissipation for control panels.<\/li>\n\n \n
    • Experience of programming in C++ and STM32 microcontroller would be an advantage.<\/li>\n\n \n
    • Minimum Bachelor\u2019s degree in electrical engineering or other relevant topic.<\/li>\n\n \n
    • Experienced in using electrical design software.<\/li>\n\n \n
    • Able to operate autonomously when required but must be a good team player with a good sense how to operate in a collective.<\/li>\n\n \n
